Rivergate Community Church is a family. We come from different backgrounds, but are united by our love for and commitment to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Whether you are single or married, a senior or a child you have a home in the Rivergate family. As a church we have been part of the North Portland community for 73 years. We value and celebrate our past as we anticipate our future. We are part of the American Baptist family of over 5,500 churches across the country.
Our life together is centered on three core areas:
We come together as believers to worship God the Father – Creator of all.
We commit ourselves to growing in our faith and knowledge of God the Son – Jesus Christ.
We are called to a life of service to the Lord, each other and our local community through the power of God the Spirit.
