It is the highlight of our church life each week.
The focus of our worship is on Jesus — his life, death and resurrection.
Our service has 4 principal parts:
First: We prepare to worship — during this time we sing, share announcements and news, and have a devotional thought by our worship leader.
Second: We hear God speak — through the reading of Scriptures and the proclamation of the Word by our pastor.
Third: We respond to God — through the offering, songs and prayers for the community as well as “God Sightings” during the previous week.
Fourth: God sends us out — We go out equipped for the week with hope, joy, strength and encouragement.
As disciples of Christ we celebrate the Lord's Supper or Communion on the first Sunday of each month during our worship service. We remember the work of Jesus on the cross and look forward to His return.
After a profession of faith in Jesus Christ the believer is baptized by immersion.
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Each week includes a shared meal and study of God's Word and practical application to our daily lives.
The Rivergate Community Church Building is a three level building; however, an elevator is in place so that all levels are accessible to handicapped or others who need assistance.
